2016年4月末 悉尼大学语言中心更新信息：In May this year, we are providing all DEC students with an IELTS test, paid for by CET, to help us to accurately set the standards of our assessment tasks.If students achieve the IELTS score they need for their university course, they will receive an unconditional offer for that course.Otherwise, the students’ individual IELTS scores will not affect their DEC scores. Their entry to university will depend, as always, on their performance in DEC assessments.从5月开始，所有入读DEC课程的学生都需参加IELTS考试，费用由语言中心承担，目的是为了更好地评估课程设置，为学生提供更加优质的课程。若学生的IELTS成绩达到了直读主课的条件，将自动获得unconditional offer；若没有，也不会影响语言课程的长度，只要顺利通过，即可升入主课的学习。所以说是为了评估课程，需要要求学生参e799bee5baa6e79fa5e98193e58685e5aeb931333361303636加雅思考试，而不是读了悉尼大学语言直升班，入读专业课仍然需要考雅思。
